This is one of the most important tours if you visit Manuel Antonio. The national park offers a variety of flora and fauna of which you can delight in the beautiful trails ideal for hiking. You will have the perfect combination of jungle and beach and is absolutely teeming with wildlife.
If you want to get an spectacular view on the national park this tour is for you! On Playa Espadilla Norte, the beach outside the national park, you can go parasailing. You will get a view that you can’t get any other way!
From Manuel Antonio, you can raft El Naranjo or Savegre. Both provide a trip of lush vegetation and gorgeous scenery. Class II to class IV whitewater rapids depending on river and the season, but Savegre is best for first timers or families. Go white water rafting!
Espadilla Beach is the main beach of Manuel Antonio and a fantastic beach to learn to surf. Before getting into the water the instructor will give a safety talk and demonstrate the first steps of surfing. The instructors guarantee you will be up and riding the waves quickly!
These waterfalls are deep in the jungles outside Dominical. Hike, take a 4×4 truck ride or horseback ride to these gorgeous waterfalls. About a 50 minute drive one way. One of the falls is 45 meters high in free fall and the other is 20 meters high in stepped fall, forming at the foot of it, a pool of a 1,000 square meters. Then there are other natural pools of smaller size which can be used for the enjoyment of the entire family.
Quepos is one of the best places in Costa Rica go in shore and off shore fishing. Expect Roosterfish, Dorado (Mahi-mahi), Jack Crevalle, Snapper and Mackerel. The offshore reefs will provide Amberjack, Snapper, Tuna, Black/Blue Marlin and SailFish.
Tour is approximately 4 hours. Oftentimes this descent is withing boundaries of a waterfall making it a memorable activity that even the most advanced thrill-seekers will enjoy.
