A Bit About Costa Rica!

Costa Rica. Peaceful, Friendly, Safe, Exotic & Unforgettable! Within a national territory of 19,700 square miles, Costa Rica is slightly larger than Switzerland. Despite its diminutive size, packed within its borders are dozens of majestic volcanoes, vast expanses of jungle, several mountain ranges, countless rivers, lakes and waterfalls, 2 peninsulas, bays and 800+ miles of coastline stretched along two oceans. Costa Rica will amaze even the most seasoned traveler with its dramatic changes of scenery!

Costa Rica is unique in so many ways and this variety is what makes this tropical paradise such an exciting place to visit. Few places on earth can match it for the natural beauty and diversity which is paralleled by a variety of outdoor activities, that range from mellow safari floats and bird watching to thrill-seeking adventures like waterfall rappelling, rafting and more!

Celebrated for its natural treasures, the primary attraction for many visitors is the 900+ recorded bird species and the endless varieties of plants, butterflies, insects and flowers found in the rainforests. And all of this is just the "tip of the volcano" to this eco-friendly, nature-lover, tropical paradise called Costa Rica... Pura Vida!

Day 1: Welcome to Costa Rica!

Bienvenidos a Costa Rica! (Spanish for - Welcome to Costa Rica!) Arrive at the SJO International Airport in Costa Rica.

Your driver will be waiting outside of the airport (after you have collected your luggage and gone thru customs) with your names on a sign and will take you to the spectacular Villa Costa Vida in Manuel Antonio. Travel time is about 3 hours.

Once there, kickback and relax as you ease into the “Pura Vida” lifestyle at your own pace.

Day 2: Settle into Pura Vida

Your journey begins with a Sunday Worship church service at the Villa. Enjoy breakfast and a relaxing morning to ease you into the “Pura Vida” vibe, then an afternoon catamaran tour (schedule may flip based on weather) Breakfast, late lunch and dinner included today.

Day 3: Nature at its Best.

Daily devotional and singing of hymns, followed by: Embark on a hiking adventure to a local park where waterfalls and nature surrounds you. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included today.

Day 4: Flavorful Moments

Daily devotional and singing of hymns, followed by: A flavorful and informative spice tour is on the docket today to learn about vanilla, chocolate, coffee, pepper and other locally grown organic spices. YUM!

Day 5: Monkeys and Sloths and Lizards, OH MY

Daily devotional and singing of hymns, followed by: Visit the world famous Manuel Antonio National Park, known for its plethora of wildlife (3 species of monkeys, 2 species of sloth, tons of birds, bats, lizards, and other intersting creatures) with a relaxing afternoon at the beach afterwards. Lunch a la carte at the beach front restaurant “Buena Vista Plus”

Day 6: Free day in Tropical Bliss

Daily devotional and singing of hymns, followed by: The day is entirely unscheduled and free for you to choose your own adventure or simply lounge by the pool. Breakfast and dinner included today.

Day 7: Costa Rican Flare

Daily devotional and singing of hymns, followed by: By now you've had enough time to eat some local Costa Rican food, so today we will entertain you with a cooking class with Chef Erick, so you can take a piece of paradise home with you in the form of recipes! Breakfast, lunch and dinner included today.

Day 8: Adios

Daily devotional and singing of hymns, followed by: A final breakfast in tropical paradise and depart by shuttle to the SJO airport for your return flights home.
