Please abide by our House Rules.

housekeeping

Daily maid service is included in your stay (M-Fri 8-4 and Saturday 8-12). While linens, bath towels, pool and beach towels are included in the unit, we do not permit ANY towels or linens to be taken from the villa on tours. Beach towels must be accounted for and in the villa upon check-out. For each beach towel/Bath towel that is not accounted for, there will be a $40 fee/towel.

check-in/ check-out

Check in is at 4 pm - Check out is at 10 am The House Host/Concierge will greet you upon arrival and upon departure. She will walk you through the Villa and answer any questions that you may have.

air conditioning

All Units MUST be turned OFF when guest(s) are not in their rooms. We are eco-friendly. If the maids finds any units running while guests are not in their rooms, they are instructed to be turned off.

parking

There is parking for 2 cars in the driveway and there are 2 spots on the street next to the gate. there may be room for 3 cars inside now and 3 on the street (one blocks the driveway exit)

please bring reusable water bottles from home

Insulated ones are even better. The water at the villa is potable and actually tastes very good and we strive to be single use plastic free!

smoking

Villa Costa Vida is a non-smoking home. If you do smoke we ask that you do so outside away from the house and that you properly put out and dispose of the cigarette butt in a trashcan, not on the ground or in the street. No open flames or candles are allowed on the property. Smoking within the house will cause the forfeiture of your damage deposit.

DO NOT FEED THE WILDLIFE (ie the Monkeys)

There is a $400 fine if we find out that you have fed them. And we WILL know! They come back after you have left and steal things, make a mess and break things. 🐒 Because of this, we ask that you do not leave ANY FOOD ON THE COUNTERS ESPECIALLY BANANAS, bread, Oreos, eggs, sugar or sugar packets! THESE ITEMS NEED TO GO IN THE PANTRY WITH THE DOOR CLOSED! 🐒🐒🐒 (LITTLE BUGGERS!)

rinsing off before entering house

Please rinse off at the outside shower (to the left of the front door) when coming back from the beach and try not to get sand in the pool or showers. It clogs the drains. Please also remove all mud before entering the villa if you went on an ATV tour or hiking.

pets

Pets are not allowed.

social events

No events or parties are permitted without prior approval. Please respect a courtesy quiet hour after 10 pm for our neighbors. Only guests who are on the original booking are allowed to stay overnight.
